FASHION STORE 7 Chome-7-21 Minami-Aoyama Minato-ku, Tōkyō +813-5778-0045 11am-7pm, closed on Tuesday http://www.45rpm.jp/jp/shop/tokyo/badou-r.html 45Rpm was a famous Japanese jeans' brand that still sells Japanese made jeans as well as other quality garment made with natural fabrics. Their Tokyo flagship and first store is located inside a beautiful traditional Japanese house that has been genuinely renovated for that purpose.
Please note that this store is in a residential neighborhood and a bit difficult to find. Although it is in "Aoyama" it is a bit of a walk. From the end of Kotto-Dori (Near Nezu Museum) you have to go to "Roppongi Dori Street" and cross over near the gas station you turnleft down a small street after 7/11 and it is on the 2nd block. There isn't a big sign so make sure that you know where you are going. It is worth seeing if you have time, even if you don't by anything.
A good coffee shop from a gradually self establishing brand that is half Parisian and half from Tokyo. There you will be able to enjoy a break in a wooden and fashionable Japanese style atmosphere. Delicious coffee served by baristas who have been trained by Mr. Kunimoto Eiichi, founder of "Omotesando Koffee". For more info about why this coffee is so delicious please read: http://www.kitsune.fr/journal/event/interview-of-mr-fujioka-cafe-kitsunes-roaster/

Since it’s opening in 1972 this has been a meeting place for artists and designers. Since being relocated to it’s current location in Aoyama in 1998, the bar continues to be a place to go for a quiet cocktail. The owner has been collecting antique glasses since the 70’s and regular customers order their cocktail by ordering a specific glass and getting the cocktail that matches it.
The best store for traditional crafts from all over Japan, skip the tourist stores like “Oriental Bazzar” which are mass produced and overpriced. This is run by the Japanese government that works with various craftsmen, usually small family run businesses, to promote their craftsmenship. There are always special events where they invite craftsmen to showcase their work.
